Always an inner invitation

called by the other

spurred to response

bursts of energy

and quiet fallow times

enthusiasm and discouragement

but always that inner voice.

 

Jubilee

a time of remembering

seeing the pattern of the call

my call our call

to this land in our time

seeing the generosity the hopes

the weaknesses and disappointments

the hurts and healings

the vision and courage

the response to the call.

 

Give thanks to our God

the one who calls

the mystery of mysteries.
