News from around the country … Arrowtown and Auckland reporting in

From Arrowtown

In Arrowtown we celebrated St Dominic’s Day with a very special time with St Joseph’s children staff and parents, and later in the day our Dominican family group in Arrowtown and Queenstown gathered for lunch and some lovely sharing time together.

This group is steadily growing and many are now looking forward to Donagh O’Shea’s visit here to Central Otago.

From Auckland

In Auckland we celebrated 35 years of Deaf Chaplaincy on Saturday 10 August, starting with Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Herne Bay and continuing with a Celebratory Lunch at Pompallier Centre.  In the photo to the left we have the cutting of the cake and below the photo shows those who gathered for Mass.
