Dominican Sisters in Iraq hope the world will see their suffering

Spotted this article online this morning and thought it might be interesting for whanau in Aotearoa New Zealand to hear news from Iraq.   In the article the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, a community in the Nineveh plain that is still rebuilding after Islamic State fighters invaded the area some six years ago talk about how they hope that Pope Francis’ planned March 5-8 visit to Iraq will place the world’s eyes on them, on their story and their struggle to survive.  Please click the link to read the article.
